Tunes
For the past twenty years, I have had the pleasure of playing accordion in the Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra, under the joyful leadership of performer and teacher Kim de Laforest. Through that experience, I have been immersed in a seemingly inextinguishable flow of airs, waltzes, jigs and reels, hornpipes and strathspeys, music to keep the heart and mind dancing. The little tunes posted here were written in that cheerful context. Although I’ve used standard accordion notation, they’d be just as happy to be played on fiddle, with or without back-up. Please check back soon for more new music. Enjoy!
